LearnMovies.com (“Company”, “we”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Our learning activity report records visits, return visits, playback and translation starts, completed quizzes, signups, views of payment options, and confirmed paid subscriptions. Browser events use a random identifier stored in your browser; signed-in events may also link to your account. These event records do not contain IP addresses, email addresses, translated words, or subtitle text. Browser event collection is disabled when Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is enabled.
Guest learning uses a random browser cookie, lm_guest, valid for up to 180 days. Saved words, quiz results, reading texts and learning progress are stored on our server under that guest profile. Signing in links this progress to your account. Clearing the cookie may remove your access to the guest profile; it does not automatically delete the stored records. We also keep daily usage counters linked to the guest profile and a hashed network address to limit paid AI requests.
To diagnose traffic and playback, activity events also record the website domain, a limited public landing-page path, the referring site’s domain, random tab-visit and video-view identifiers, and fixed YouTube error codes. We do not retain URL query strings, fragments, search terms, full referrer URLs or arbitrary error messages in these records. The tab-visit identifier and landing-page attribution are kept in session storage and renewed on the next page load on a new UTC day. Successful AI generation records also identify the website domain where the request was made.
For public reading-library stories and articles, we also record opens, 30-second reading milestones, estimated completion and successfully submitted quizzes. These events include the public text path and random browser/tab identifiers, but not the text, selected answers or translated words. Reading milestones use paragraph visibility and active-tab time; they do not prove understanding. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable this analytics collection.
Guided-tour analytics record whether a reading, video or landing-page tour starts automatically or manually, its completed actions, optional skips, dismissals and completion. A random tour identifier in tab session storage connects these events across pages and avoids counting reloads as new tours. No words, translations, answers or generated text are included. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable this collection.
